I have found this product is most effective when it's alternated with other cleansers. (Try Neutrogena's Clear Pore Cleanser / Mask.) It is a bit difficult to rinse completely, as the beads are slightly larger than other masks. But it is gentle and does an effective job of cleansing the skin.

I don't believe that it will eliminate blackheads on its own, but when used with other products in this same line, it is very good.

My husband and I saw an article on this product and tried it over the weekend. We can definitely see a distinct difference. If the first treatment does not help, try it for another 3 - 4 times and you will see the difference. The lotion works to dissolve the blackheads.

but it also advertises "blackhead eliminating." As a scrub alone, it's one of the best I've used. The first time I used it, it amazed me! My skin felt so soft and smooth, I almost didn't need to use a moisturizer afterwards! It was easy to use, easy to rinse off and left a light tingly feeling. My skin is not super sensitive, and the scrub feels a little abrasive, but I've used other scrubs that have felt more abrasive that don't seem to do as much as this one. As far as "blackhead eliminating" I would say it's more like blackhead lightening or slightly reducing. I have only noticed a small difference, and I have been using this scrub daily for about two weeks. I love this scrub, but I wouldn't buy it or recommend it just for the blackhead eliminating claims. If you want to remove blackheads, buy this scrub and pore strips to use after.

I absolutely love this stuff!!!! This is the BEST Astringent I've EVER used!!!! You can actually feel this stuff working. You wash your face and then put some of the toner (astringent) on your face. If you walk around if feels like a cool, kind of like menthol (you know when you put on Noxzema or something on your face and you can feel the menthol working?), breeze in your pores the faster you walk the cooler it feels. That's my favorite part walking around feeling the coolness in my pores! Yeah I'm weird, but that's how I know its working. It helped reduced the size of my pores on my nose, along with keep the oil in my T-zone down, which is great because I've tried a lot of things and they didn't work too well for me, like even Proactiv. I have very dry cheeks, which is another great thing about this toner; it doesn't dry out my cheeks. A lot of other toner's I've used burn my cheeks and dry them out even more. I am 21 and have had combo skin for years and years, dry in the morning, oily throughout the day! i love this product though! i use it on my face every morning when my skin is a bit flakey, and it makes my skin so soft! my moisturizer goes on smoothly finally! a bottle lasts a long time, i very rarely break out, and i have noticed a significant difference in the amount of oil on my face at the end of the day! i still have some but much less! my only complaint is that it does nothing for blackheads, i still have those...

I continue to use Neutrogena Clear Pore Oil Eliminating Astringent because it works. The only problem that I had with this purchase is that it leaked in the mail. Fortunately, it was wrapped in plastic and the loss was minimal but it was disappointing not to receive the full amount of liquid.

Hi i got this mask at tj maxx cause it was cheap, it turns out is a great product. It does what IT SAYS IT WOULD. Your face feels clean fresh and not dry at all, you can actually see the impurities once you peel off.
